Introduction                            

 

       Peace and Friendship Stadium is located at N. Faliro coastal region, a top transportation junction, just 4 kms from the port of Piraeus, 10 kms from the city centre and 25 kms from “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport, with an easy access by all public transport means (METRO, bus, tram e.t.c).

 

It was constructed the period between 1981-1984 by Greek companies. The study  was accomplished by “Thimios Papagiannis and Partners” office.

 

It is a characteristic sample of the 20^th century latest architectural style. It also presents many similarities to the Arena of Milan and the Palais of Budapest.

 

The Stadium is totally equipped with all modern technology systems and many kinds of facilities like a First Aid centre, large parking space, restaurants e.t.c.

 

This great multi-purpose venue apart from numerous sport activities, can also host trade fairs, cultural events, congresses of a huge number of participants and any other kind of special events.
